The FinderMonkey Weekly - Week 22 FinderMonkey

Welcome to the FinderMonkey Weekly. Our weekly deep dive into the world of people tracing.

This week we’ve been really busy with new instructions.

At the time of writing, we have been instructed by 48 people this month.

That is to find their lost friends and family members.

So as always if you are considering looking for a person missing from your life. We would encourage you to arrange a call with one of our team on 0113 282 5900.

Long Lost Family…

The new series of Long Lost Family is well underway now on ITV (Mondays at 9pm). This always spikes an interest in our work. And we see an uptick in our work because of it.

We have had our own TV show in the past but in truth we prefer to work under the radar. This means our clients know we are working for them and not for national exposure.

When you are involved in a TV show you do have to make allowances for that.

This week’s video David our Head Researcher talks about what prompts people to start a search. It looks like he is in Florida or something, but he is actually sat outside our office here in Leeds.

Usually, people have been thinking about it for a long time and so what makes them choose the moment they do to go ahead.

Do things like Long Lost Family help? Dave also talks about if the pandemic was a reason people decided to look for someone.

Maybe because they had more time over the pandemic to think about things.

Also, does age play a part. Most of our adoption work (carried out by our Ofsted Outstanding sister company JNA) is done for older people.

Finally, life events can spur people into action.

Whatever your reason we’d love to get the chance to tell you more about how we can help you. Our process isn’t to hard sell to you.

We need you to feel safe and secure with us and that doesn’t happen if we’re hard selling. So, we take a more consultative approach.

You can book a call to speak to one of our Trace Consultants who will be happy to talk to you for free. (The service isn’t free, but the consultation is).

They will tell you what we can do for you and how we can help.

If you are interested, you can book an appointment with us below at a time that best suits you.
