The FinderMonkey Weekly - Week 21 FinderMonkey

Welcome to the FinderMonkey Weekly. This is our weekly deep dive into the world of people tracing.

This week’s video is a real treat…

It comes direct from Dr Joanna North of Joanna North Associates our sister company who deal with all of our adoption related work.

David touched on a new adults affected by adoption support group in last weeks FinderMonkey Weekly.

This week Dr North talks about this new group specifically created to offer support to adults affected by adoption.

In this new video Dr North talks about what to expect from the group (expected to be live by the end of June) and what will be featured in the fortnightly open Zoom call.

All adults affected by adoption are welcome, you don’t need to be a client of ours.

Just a general interest in wanting to find your birth relatives or if you have any questions surrounding being adopted and the effects of being adopted.

Dr North and David Oates (our Head Researcher) will be on hand every couple of weeks to answer them for you.

Joanna North Associates are Ofsted Rated Outstanding and members of the Consortium of Adoption Support Agencies.

They are best placed to answer (or find the answers) to your questions around the subject of adoption for adult affected by adoption.

We will deliver more news and links on how to join nearer the time but in the meantime, we hope you find this video informative and reassuring.

We feel blessed and honoured to work so closely with Dr Joanna North and Joanna North Associates.

She has certainly been a massive influence on us and the way we work in all aspects of our business, especially around our safeguarding processess. We know this new group will be a game changer for any adults affected by adoption so watch out for future updates.

We wish you all the best and we’ll see you again next week.
